Innovation is key to the future success of organisations because of the complex challenges we face...both as business people and as a community.

We are often required to do more with less and traditional ways of evolving solutions are just not fast or radical enough. This presents a particular challenge for small businesses. Innovation requires new ways of thinking and problem solving, characterised by ‘creative tension’ , ‘healthy disagreement’, differing perspectives, alternative approaches and dealing with folk who are just plain irritating.

In this workshop we will explore:

  • Why innovation and learning are the only real source of competitive

  • How to create an environment that fosters more creativity and generates better ideas

  • Why mistakes need to be encouraged (within reason)

  • What business leaders should really be doing with their time

This workshop will be written and delivered by Tim Kemp (MA MBA Chartered FCIPD).

The event price includes a lunch which will coincide with the lunch of the participants for the morning workshop providing an opportunity to network or simply to meet like minded individuals.

About Tim

Tim lives in Shropshire but has over 30 years’ international experience  working as a facilitator, consultant and learning advisor to a wide range of companies and organisations, including The Economist, McKinsey, Microsoft, Allianz, GE, Alstom,
The United Nations, Nokia, Reuters, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, The Council of Europe, the UK Ministry of Defence, and a dozen Local Authorities.
